Tibetan Buddhist Altar Tables
Tibetan Buddhist Altar tables from the Upper Sange AKA Wutun Monastery. Each one is uniquely hand painted by monk artists specifically trained in Tibetan Buddhist art. The tables are hand painted with Buddhist symbols and icons on each Tibetan cabinet. Every Butsudan either comes with a Certificate of Authenticity brush-signed by a monk at the monastery or one is available in the documents package for a donation to the Dron-me association. The Buddhist altar tables are all survivors of, and pre-date the Chinese Cultural Revolution when over 6100 of the Tibetan monasteries were completely destroyed.
